forgot about a memory card that hadn't been used for over a year so i went to put the pics on the pc.viewing them on the camera the images are fine but when i get them on the pc they're dark and not very good at all.this is the first time i've had a problem and i don't have an answer.it's annoying cos they're of my grandad who died a few weeks ago

Are they dark on more than one PC? Could be the contrast/brightness of your screen.
If not the screen, you can adjust the colour levels/contrast and brightness of the photos quite easily.
If you want I can PM you my email address and you can mail me sample pic so I can (a) see if its dark on my PC (b) do a tidy up to show you whats possible - can then write how you can adjust the levels.
Hope this helps.0 -
