I phoned around and got a range of tyre prices. National were the best as they're doing a BOGOF on Avon tyres at present, so I'd get two good quality tyres for £90. I went there and explained again what I wanted and they went away and fitted them, or so I thought. Having driven home I found they'd fitted two cheaper quality tyres instead. Grrr !

Does it say Avon tyres on the receipt? Even if it doesn't, a phone call to the manager would be in order, or a personal visit if you're close enough...!

Did whatever literature you read about this BOGOF offer actually state the make of types it applied to? If it did, have they fitted tyres belonging to those makes to your car?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

It states Avon & Barum are on BOGOF but only applies to certain sizes
