dont know if in right place first time posting. soooooooooooooooo angry, ordered from catalogue over month ago ,recieved letter saying cheque not enough to cover items, mistake made their end (discount not added) they apoligized said order would now be dispatched. waited 1 more week nothing .rang again, preimum rate number as well , kept on hold,transfered etc (bump up their profits bit more.)anyway all but 1 item not available so would be getting refund but in 7-10 days. god knows how long they would of taken to tell me if i hadnt rang, wasnt aware i had become a money lending facility as they taken my money for what will be 8 weeks and by the time i get it back i would of ran up phone bill so now actually minus. i feel better now thanks, anything more i can do anybody?:confused:

    I'd ask them for the price of the phone call(s) back, as it was their cockup, not yours.

    I always pay by debit card that way they dont take the money until they pack the item, but they do take orders and then 3-4 weeks later write and say they are not in stock. :mad:

    I had a problem with a free gift a while back, I only ever order if there is a discount code and a decent gift as I do not think their stuff is actually worth the full prices, they sent me a toy for my daughter that was nowhere near as good as the one offered and was more of a boys toy, when I called to ask why I'd got this thing the lady was really rude. I have not bought as much off them this year out of principle. I dont really know what to suggest you can do, the lady I spoke to was so rude I would hate to have to deal with them if they had my money with that attitude. Hope you get a refund sorted soon.

    I agree. I've had loads of stuff from them, and always found the service to be great, the clothing of good quality and the prices are fantastic.

    hi thanks for the number,im sure i will need it to chase the cheque. i agree they do have some lovely looking items thats why i chose to order, but not much good when all but one item is out of stock, thats not the real issue though,its the fact that even when i got the only item they had in stock, i had delivery note saying other items out of stock (got info from them bout 6 weeks after placed order) they didnt include my refund. i paid by cheque so they said couldnt have money refunded on card, why not send refund same time as info. so all in all they would of hung on to my money for bout 2 months? :confused: thanks again for number

    If you could be bothered, I would ask them to pay for your phone calls. I would expect a fiver goodwill gesture to cover it.
    But only if you can be bothered...

    hi thanks mentioned that last time but proberly rang up another few quids worth being passed around to another dept and havin to tell whole story again. even assistant agreed it was bad conduct she told me to write in. i really like the look of some of their stuff as well, but lot cheaper to just look at it and not actually order it .

    I've had a few positive experiences with them, but the last few have been terrible including;
    offering free gift and not delivering (very upset dd)
    shelving unit which now has peeling plasticy paint
    sending the (same) wrong item 3 times.

    I dont plan on using them again.
