I can only find accounts that pay interest annually. Are there any savings accounts that pay interest monthly so that I could drop in a lump sum of about £5000 and maybe add to it each month myself?
Should we be able to impose charges on banks? 7 votes

I am not a really experienced 'investor' but I recently opened an NS&I Income Bond which pays me monthly interest into a bank account of my choice. It is also safe as this is a Government scheme. Hope that helps a bit.0
