Which Savings Account

Hi all
Im looking for a savings account from which to make overpayments to my mortgage from. The minimum overpayment i can make is £2000, so basically as soon as i hit the £2000 target i'll contact my mortgage provider and get them to take the money. I cant guarantee that I can save the same amount every month ( some months i may not be able to save any at all ) so a regular saver account is out of the question. I've looked at the kaupthing edge but i need to have at least £1000 saved in there to get the top interest rate.
What would you guys recommend?? Would the firstsave at 6.26% be a good one for my situation.
