Well, I joined Slicethepie, and have made about £3.60 between last night / today./ Got up to 2*, and then randomly have dropped back to 1* earlier, which is really annoying, given that I've now done nearly 100 reviews and have an accuracy over 80%. Plus I actually work in the industry, so do (supposedly, haha) know what I'm talking about!

Also brought lunch from home today, listed a CD on eBay, checked quidco & mystery shops (nada).

  • Hello all
    • made packed lunches for DSs
    • had storecupboard tea
    • did NO washing ( quite amazing)
    • checked online banking and updated spreadsheet
Other things not so good as I went to the shop and bought 2 things I didn't really need. Didn't cost a lot but I shouldn't have bought them. Why did I do it?.....

    Getting there...slowly! :D

No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.

My wife took my wallet to work with her today (long story), so I had no cash. So a colleague lent me £1 at lunch, but I found a £5er in my lunch hour!

I should leave my wallet behind more often....

  • Did a washing at 35 and hung it outside to dry.

Made a big curry which will do the tea, tonight, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Bought beer in Tesco instead of going to the pub tonight.

The thing about trying to be debt free is not beating yourself up about everything, its like a diet, if your too strict on it you'll only end up getting bored off it and binge out, perhaps with some big shopping spree! I know its hard though, we hadn't had a take away in ages and i suggested one the other night but ended up not getting one as felt guilty about spending that much money. At the same time though i think spending a little every now and then on something perhaps irrelevant or pointless but makes you happy is worth it. We were put here to enjoy life so might at well do a bit of that:D
