Hi Computer Geek Moneysavers!!
Why do I get this displayed on my screen - Local Area Connection 3 - A network cable is unplugged..
Temporary loss of connection - then OK again.
Seems more in wet weather & lost avery 2 or 3 seconds, yesterday, so very hot temperatures too!!?? (or just in my mind!!)
I've followed all AOL ideas, checked physical connections - only inside the fone socket, that I've NOT played with!!
HELP!!!!

Is there any chance that your phone has a crackly line.
And ask your phone supplier to boost the gain (signal strength).0 -
Hello
I have exactly the same problem with mine Do you have the BT modem (voyager 105). I have done everything i can think of new modem, cables, reloaded AOHell made sure i had microfilters on every line. BT did a line check (you can do this online through https://www.bt.com). I am still having an ongoing fight with them as they said there is not a problem with the line when there is (you can hear the line crackling)
I am even taking a week off work to sort it out.
If your line is clear (in your opinion, not BT's) try swapping the microfilters around, have you plugged a new phone into a socket? do you know if anywork has been carried out at you local BT Exchange?
Good Luck.0 -
Try disabling QOS Packet Scheduler, goto start my network places, view network connections, right click on lan connection 3 and you can do it in there0
