I am waiting for information from the planning office that outlines exactly what permission has been granted. There is permission to turn the office into domestic use, but I don't have the detail of that, and I don't yet know whether the property can be split into two.

I appreciate no precise figures can be given. I was just looking for a very crude ballpark figure of what it might be (ie. hundreds or thousands). Sure I can consult a builder... I just thought someone here might be able to give a vague indication.

but what is the point in a vague indication ?? you wont know how much profit you can make, if any, without a precise costed specification.

Sure, I'm ultimately going to need precise costings but an approximate idea is useful to try to ascertain how viable all this might be.
