OK this is gonna be hard to describe. :rotfl:
Basically, the background colour of the surrounding part of the forum (for example where the smileys are) has turned into this sort of colour.
Now that may not work as you'll see it different to me! :undecided
Basically it's got darker over the last few days! White is still white. It's the sort of off-white colour that has changed. Also like at the top of internet explorer. Where you type in the address is fine as it's white. But the bit with the menus, favourites etc has gone to this purple/pinkish type colour!
Is my monitor dying?
Edit: Changing the tilt of the monitor does change it back but only briefly.

Your VGA cable has packed up.. If it's hard-wired into the monitor, then yes, you need a new monitor. You can move the cable around to get colours back, but it's still naffed.IT Field Service Engineer, 20 years with screwdriver and hammer

Thanks.
Without seeing it do you think it will remain useable for a couple more months or will it go blank or something? :think:0 -
you'll lose a primary colour - mainly yellow - unless you wiggle the cable. It can stay 'fixed', if you're careful not to jiggle the cable, for years.
Keep an eye on your local freecycle site for a working replacement
