I can't give any definite information, but I'll repeat what I've said before: you need to work out what you need from a bank account before you can know which is best.
It sounds as if you're going to have cash and cheques to pay in, so you need one where you can do this: go round your local banks and ask what they offer for clubs and societies - you don't want a full-blown business account! Also ask at the Post Office who they serve - I always used to use Alliance and Leicester via the Post Office.

Slightly off the topic of bank accounts, but do get a proper constitution set up if you haven't already: that will give you a structure and 'officers' to agree to opening your account. Your local Council for Voluntary Service should be able to help with that one, google CVS plus your local area. If there's not a lot on their website, take a look at Voscur, I know there are some good resources there - click on Resources, then Governance for example.Signature removed for peace of mind0
