Advice needed,leaving 2nd job.

Hi,

Could anyone advise me please,I have left my second job,I have one job,My husband gets C/A,for our daughter so he is not employed,We have just signed on last week because my other job takes me down to under 16 hours a week,I am worried because we have 4 children,and dont know how long it will take to sort out IS,and HB,I was only in my second job for a few weeks,but due to personnal reasons I have left,I will be looking for another job,this is only temporary until I get myself sorted,sorry for the rant,I hope someone can give us a little advice.:confused:

    This isn't gospel, its just something I found when I was with my ex. Im presuming that you weren't previously claiming any benefits... just that your husband was.

    If your husband isn't working I'm guessing that he was on either JSA or IS along with C/A (carers allowance?). Your claim for IS will go onto his, as a couple ie he will get the money for both of you.

    Hi Blue Meany,

    I was claiming for him on my WTC,He has claimed IS for us both.
