utility warehouse

Switch away from them to another (cheaper of course) supplier.
Then when you get your final bill, demand they refund the credit immediately, failing which you will take them to the small claims court.0 -
I've noticed that Utility Warehouse do tend to build up credit, especially on gas. But if you send your current meter reading towards the end of the month, they'll adjust it on the next bill. The email address to use is memberservices (at) uwdc.co.uk and don't forget to include your account / customer / membership number, whatever it's called! It worked for me: just a shame the subsequent estimate over-estimated by 50% again. So this weekend, a current meter reading will be sent off, again. I'm happy that overall the prices they charge are, if not the cheapest available, near enough that switching is just not worth the potential hassle.0
