My nine year old daughter wanted to do an IQ test, but you have to pay for them all!!! She did one that appeared to be free, after answering 201 questions it said now please pay for your results!! (she was gutted).

Most free/online IQ tests are of little use, and are especially not designed for children - the only reliable IQ test for anyone, especially for a child, is the kind that's administered by a professional educational psychologist.0

You're getting into dodgy territory and I would discourage her from doing one at all. If it gives a high score, she'll think she's very intelligent. If it gives a low score, she'll think she's stupid. Neither of which is necessarily true.0

There is a thread on the freebies board:

What about playing Brain Training or something like that instead? Not quite an IQ score but it gives you an indication of how 'young' your brain is. a nine year old might find 'Big Brain Academy' more suitable. (These are both games for the DS)That's Numberwang!0
