car insurance for seeing clients

I have just 'ordinary' car insurance, 3rd party fire and theft. I work part time in a school and I also have 3-5 students a week whom I tutor in their own homes (I am self-employed for this). Do I need business insurance for my car or is this classed as commuting? I go to the same places every week but they are of a temporary nature ranging from 6 months to 2 years at present.

usually SDP& commuting is to ONE place of work, so the cover you require sounds like Class 1, which for most insurers is to and from various places of work. It wording may differ from insurer to insurer however this is usually the case.
