i,
I have the following cards:-
Halifax One - Limit 5k Balance £2.5k
A&L Visa - Limit 5k Balance 0
Egg Money Limit £1500 Balance £100 cr
Co-Op Gold - Limit 3k Balance 0
Natwest - Limit £1200 Balance 0
Argos: Limit 1200 Balance £25
Balance transfer rate on the Halifax is due to expire next month and would like to apply for a new card.
At the end of the December I moved house and I was abit late in registering for the Electoral on my new address. Received letter from City Council to say I will on WEF 01/03/08,
Do you think will it be OK to apply for a new card?
Thanks
M

whats your salary?
you have quite a lot of credit available to you!! u might want to close down some of the cards that have 0 balance and pay off the cards with very low balances and shut them down too.
no one knows if u'll get approved for the new cards or not, but i think your chances will increase if you follow the advice above. who are you thinking of applying to?0 -

Good advice. Knowing your salary is the key factor in order to give any kind of advice here.
As far as you just having moved house goes, I wouldn't worry. You'll be prompted to fill in the 'previous address' box on the form when you apply anyway so they'll see your credit history without any problems.
As long as your repayment history is good then I personally can't see any reason why you wouldn't get a card with at least a £2.5k limit.

Any suggestion? Should I close some cards or reduced credit limit?
Thanks again
