Key Number for axcel

Hi
I have just bought a new HP laptop in Spain which had excell installed but it keeps asking for my key number. When I put the 25 key number in it tells me it's an error, the number is incorrect. Has anyone come across the solution to this please

Where did you get the key number from? CD Case, PC case sticker, manual? i.e. are you sure it's an excel/office key and not just your windows key?

Possibly it was just a trial verison and you'll need to buy a copy to get a key.

You can try Openoffice insteadm it's free and includes Calc which is an Excel equivalent and is compatible with Excel.

It is a trial version. Many PC manufacturers are now putting trial versions of Office on PCs.
