Credit Card Query

I have just got my credit card bill through the post.Included on the bill was a payment of £175.00 for a item i have since cancelled.The money is now showing in my credit card account as a credit,but i still have the item to pay on my bill.Do i still have to pay the credit card company the £175,and accept that i have a credit or iis there another way.

It depends.
If you are paying full amount by D/D then I suggest that the whole amount as date of statement will be taken from your account.
If you pay manually and the outstanding balance now shows the reduction (online?) then I think you can pay the bill minus the £175.0 -
Yes, you can pay the full statement balance less the £175 and provided your balance is zero before the Due Date, you should not be charged any interest.0
