New house pipe burst because of developer ! What should I do

I bought a Persimmons home about 18 months ago and it came with a 2 year guarantee. Few days ago they sent a joiner to repair my creaking bedroom/bathroom floor. While there he accidentally burst the radiator pipings and caused a reasonably big leak. My living room ceiling is stained. He was quick thinking and made a hole in the ceiling to drain about 1 bucketful of water.
The site manager apologized, the plumber came immediately to repair it. The cleaner came and cleaned up the stained carpets. They will come back next week to repaint the ceiling and fix the whole. My concern is
1. Will there be a long term problem, given that my warranty expires in 6 months
2. Should I demand for an extension of my warranty, or just accept that accidents do happen and it was nobody's intention ?
3. Will this affect my future house selling value, eg. can the surveyor pick this up next time.
Thanks for everybody's advise

I would say they've been pretty proactive in putting right the damage they caused.0
