JillD- glad to see you are brighter. You mentioned cracked heels a while ago, I am having problems with mine and found this: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=497425
Thanks hex. Read the thread (and the ones it led too LOL0 with interest. I've been using Flexitol Cracked Heel Repair Cream which does seem to be helping a lot, but as soon as I forget for a day they get bad again. Night try some of the other things mentioned in there

lil_me - do Tescos not have the option dont give me a substitute? I know Sainsburys does, cos I used it as I am very fussy and never like the substitutes lol

Yes I think they do but then I end up with things missing I need for the next day etc if the only problem is say smaller packets of cheese/milk/oats (thought these weren't as bad, need them for DSs brekkie in the morning so kept them, 2 for £1.18 instead of 0.98 but then I see that's for half the amount when I looked closer  I know it's only a small amount but adds up when they do it lots) etc so I usually tick ok, thinking there won't be many, didn't used to be but they are getting much more frequent now. Actually when I think of it the store in general are frequently out of stock on many items and I've been ending up going elsewhere.

JillD I got some Avon foot cream and moisture socks, I think it's the socks that are helping the most keeping the cream on. Most successful one I have tried ( tried loads before, I can pick off 1/2cm thick pieces off mine when it's very bad!)
One day I might be more organised...........

Hmmm, sorry not sure what else to suggest then. Other than of course, going to the shops, but then presumably the shop wont have the right stuff either?

Away for my bath now. I'm reading an Amy Tan book from the library. I really like her. I've also got Kim from Kim and Aggie's autobiography. Quite hard going so I'm reading it one chapter at a time along with Amy Tan. I walked for miles today and have done nearly 12,500 steps. I walked from Cameron Toll to Kinnaird Park. I thought that was about 3.5/4 miles, but I checked it on google maps. Only 2.1 miles. I'm sooooooo unfit!!!!!

    Night night xx

SSL thinking the same thing, thankfully I only usually do one online shop a month now when I have looked through my spending diary, well 3 weekly ish, stocking up on the big bulky basics, which hurt to cart into the trolley/out of the trolley/into the car, order the deliveries when DP is in so he can help carry it in if the driver doesn't (most do). I never had issues with Asda just it was coming up cheaper on mysupermarket then with the codes etc seemed worth it. When I end up needing to go to the shop anyway (I see the delivery as saving time and petrol money) it's another cost to add really. At least with Asda they will pricematch the substitutes so tightsods like me get extras free :D I ordered something daft like 10 bottles of cheap shampoo to stock up, 48p or so to use as handwash aswell, they sent big expensive bottles of pantene for the same price, I want that picker every time!!!! :rotfl: not always so lucky, that was definately a bonus day!

Right, suppose I should go to bed once I have sorted uniforms/lunches.....DS1 usually gets 2 days from some of his uniform but someone gave him yoghurt, well he isn't very good with spoons so came in looking painted! :rotfl: bless him he hates being dirty

    Good luck Denise! .

someone asked me earlier this week, ssl I think it was, how the weight loss was going. Well not great, I put on 2 lbs over the hols but considering the rubbish I ate its not that surprising, in fact what is surprising is that I didnt put on more.
I watched a thing on BBC3 earlier- Natalie Cassidy (Sonia from Eastenders) did anyone else see it ? She was looking at and trying out fad diets and their effect. It was quite interesting and apart from the obvious stuff what really struck me was that on one of the diets (well all of them I suppose) she just looked awful, bad skin, really drained looking, dark circles under her eyes, falling asleep all over the place. That is totally me. I am not doing a fad diet, I dont mean that, but I am not eating well at all again. Craving biscuits and sugary things badly but I know deep down it gives me the shortlived energy high followed by a crash thing. 3 days of the last 5 I have fallen asleep on the sofa early afternoon while DD playing and LO napping. And then wake up feeling yucky.

Its really made me realise that I should just cut out the carpy snacks and drink more water and less coffee so at least I will look healthier if nothing else. I've eaten so many biscuits this weekend its just not funny. I also saw some photos of me at a friend's wedding in december, and some that DH took of me with the kids on hols, I am going to print them out and stick them on a piece of card next to one of me after I lost the weight before and hopefully that will serve as some kind of reminder too.

I'm going to go back to the Weightwatchers No Count/Core Plan which really trains you to have healthy eating habits, and its how I lost 3 stone after DD was born.

Earlier nights wouldnt hurt either .....

    On the plus for today:-
DD did really well again with toilet training, she had an accident at a friends house but it was after swimming and I forgot to remind her (again) so not really a surprise.
DS back at school and that went well, he got straight back into the swing of it.
My lovely friend had us over for kiddy tea this afternoon so no cooking for me :)
And I met my lovely friend's FIL's wife who is also from NIreland - and I never knew. I said to my friend "you never told me" she said "er its just all Ireland to me" LOL so I had a lovely chat with someone frome home

Gosh I am waffling on big time at the moment.

Right. Got bottles to prepare then off to bed, LO fed earlier which is not good as it means she will up middle of the night as well as first thing.
    Night night

Jill don't feel guilty, its a mil's job to make our lives miserable. Mine isn't too bad apart from the fact that she visits about 4 days a week and out stays her welcome every single time. She lets the little one climb on the table and says how can you stop him....er, easy take him down! Duh!
good lord I cant bear it if mine comes once every 5 months LOL
