Are you restricted to just your workplace, or are there others that you can visit in your area that you can start before June?

I only have one day a fortnight free to do this at the moment, so if I do take on somewhere else I won't have time to do it here (which is what I'd rather do). I will have a think about timing and maybe bite the bullet and actually do it. As IA said earlier.....what's the worst that can happen?

Can you see clients at home or are you restricted to workplaces?

    (sorry for all the questions!)

No, I could/can see clients at home (and I really should get my ar*e into geat and get that up and running). I have spent literally thousands doing the courses, buying the equipment and at the moment it's just sitting gathering dust :o .

In my defence we are in the process of moving house (well.....just accepted an offer on the house) so don't want to get loads of leaflets/flyers printed up with an address that we might not be at for much longer.

Corporate massage is big business....I just want a little slice of that once a week.

I could also go mobile which would save me setting everything up at home. I offer full body massage, Hopi ear candling, Indian head massage and manicure and pedicure (not so keen on those - more interested in the holistic side of things).

  • I think this is a great idea- I would love the idea that I could get a massage at work!

I also think that Hypno06's idea is a great plan B- you could offer a special rate to employees maybe at lunchtime or after work? I'd pay £10 or so once a month for a 15 minute massage at work.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Thanks GISI - I need more people like you who realise the difference a massage can make to your overall wellbeing.

    Thanks all for the encouragement.

You can get leaflets printed without the address on - I would advise against the address on flyers anyway, otherwise you will just get people knocking on your door expecting to be treated!

WE have a lady who visits our company once a week and the other 4 days a week she visits 4 other companies. For example I am paying her £15 tomorrow to do a 30 mins back and shoulders massage. But she does all kinds of things like that as well as beauty (waxing etc)

That's true Hypno. I would only put my mobile no on (when I have got it reconnected after I settle my overdue bill).

Really excited about the idea of corporate tho, as I can't see myself wanting to do treatments after a full day at work. Having said that we need the money and plenty of people on here have more than one job, so I might do it anyway. Every little helps.

I see clients evenings and weekends - as long as you ground yourself, you should be ok!
