How to remove blu tak stains from walls?

Hi,
So DD6 had turned her playroom into the Tate Modern , but when she decided recently to take her ridiculous amounts of pics and drawings down, the blu tak stains decided to stay firmly glued to the wall
Considering it was only painted in November (well, in fact it was only built in the summer, so is brand new) I am somewhat unhappy.....
The walls were painted with Wickes Trade Emulsion in MATT (Aaarrrrgggghhhhh!!!) so unless anyone has a miracle cure, I guess I'm lumbered with a repainting job? In hindsight I should have gone for a more durable paint for her room, but costs of the extension had already escalated so I had to make do.
The blu tak itself is all off but it looks like sort of grease marks that's left behind.
Any help appreciated before I throttle her!!!

The blutack leaves a greasy mark so I'd try rolling white bread over the marks...
we had the same problem in an RAF house in Germany.
FAiling that, scrub with a toothbrush dipped in washing up liquid, again to work on the grease. These are only guesses mind I don't remember us getting that good a result in Germany. Still, white bread and washing up liquid you've probably already got and at least if it doesn't work you've not spent a fortune on things that don't work.. Blutack is the Devil's work.0 -

I'm not sure, but have you tried white spirit or meths?Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
