Credit Card Charges

Options
Afternoon

I have reclaimed some credit card charges from a certain bank.

They have updated my credit file with going to 6 in arrears and now they have locked any info for it.

Transaction not received this month
This means that the lender operating the account has not provided your account information to the credit reference agency this month, sometimes due to the lender keeping the account status private.

I need to write to them to update my account with the correct details.

Can I quote

"
The current Banking Code (Section 13.6) states: We may give information to Credit Reference Agencies about the personal debts you owe us if:
  • You have fallen behind with your payments,
  • The amount owed is not in dispute; and
  • You have not made proposals we are satisfied with for repaying your debt, following our formal demand.
"

So after I had disputed the amount taken them to court and they paid up the cash I paid up what they owed me and the account was closed.
I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
Seek legal help if unsure.
Dont pay Private Parking tickets - they are mere invoices.

PRESS THANKS

What I am trying to say is that according to this"The current Banking Code (Section 13.6) states: We may give information to Credit Reference Agencies about the personal debts you owe us if: You have fallen behind with your payments,The amount owed is not in dispute; and You have not made proposals we are satisfied with for repaying your debt, following our formal demand."Should I be in dispute with the bank concerning the amount owed they cannot update my credit file. The account that was in dispute has gone to 6 on my credit file. This part of the banking code states that we can update your credit file if the amount owed is not in dispute. It was in dispute i took them to court. Can I send a letter to them stating this fact and ask them to update my records correctly.
