I have the above laptop-it seems that I have the most basic model as it doesn't seem to have a memory card reader. I wanted to buy a digital camera and send photo's by e mail etc, but as I haven't got a "hole" in the laptop for the memory card it seems that this is not possible. Am i right? Can I buy something to "add on" to my laptop to make it possible?Or is a new laptop the only option.
I am a bit thick when it comes to IT so any advice much appreciated.Thank you.

You can buy a USB memory card reader which will go in one of your USB ports.0

...but with many digital cameras you don't need one. If the camera has a USB connection then you can connect it to the PC and the camera will act like a card reader, allowing you to transfer photos onto the PC.0 -
thank you both very much -thats good news. I shall go ahead and buy my camera.0
