Hi all,
I am looking for a new credit card for a balance transfer - I see that HSBC looks the most attractive offer however I believe these have call centres based in India, and after my previous disastrous service from Barclays I would want an card with a UK Only call centre (like Egg which I already have)
Can anyone offer me any ideas, thanks

As far as I know all Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) card divisions have UK call centres.
And my Smile (Co-operative Bank) account also has UK call centre.

Yes, Goldfish/Morgan Stanley are in Glasgow, although these were recently taken over by Barclaycard, so may not last much longer.People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0 -
smile & the Co-operative Bank have UK call centres (Based in Stockport & Skelmersdale). Smile don't have any particularly great deals on balance transfers, but the Co-op have 0% deals if that's what you're after?
I also bank with Natwest and I believe they have a UK call centre. However, I've been unimpressed with their service a fair bit recently. I think it's one of those things where you hit a bump in the road and everything goes wrong service wise. They may also have some 0% balance transfer deals and would be worth a look maybe.
Good luck!0 -
Natwest is all UK call centres.Kavanne
