does anyone have this camera and have any problems?we bought this last week and when switched on (with full battery)it bleeps 3times then switches itself off,anyone any ideas

TBH I had a smasung and it was pretty dire, this was quite some time ago, I now have a fuji and I am really happy with it.
We have 2 samsung cameras in the office and they're both fine. They get lots of abuse - dropped, in pockets with tapes, chalk, used in all weathers and generally given a hard time. Both have stood up to the abuse quite easily.
You may have had a "friday afternoon" camera or possibly if it was some time ago, Samsung have improved their quality control quite significantly.
Keen photographer with sales in the UK and abroad.
