Replacement charger for camcorder

Hi

Ive got an old camcorder that we had some films of the kids when they where younger - i wanted to copy some of the films over but cant find the charger anywhere,
Ive looked on line but struggling to find the changer for anywhere less than £80 ish quid

Anyone know any sites where i may find it cheaper?

Check in the handbook to see what voltage the camera runs on, then go to your local Maplin and buy a universal power supply of the correct voltage and current . Most come with a range of plugs and sockets to fit popular makes.
If you haven't got the details, ask the question again and give the make and model of your camera, perhaps some member will have the same one.

Thanks - ive stll got the manual - i presumed all the slots for the chargers where different sizes/shapes to prevent you using universal ones?

If you have a Maplins store near you, take the camera and H/Book along and ask their advice. They normally have someone who will help. Alternatively try EBay ?
