Non-Alcoholic Cocktail recipes??

Tonight DS has to make an 'item of food' for Beavers to get his next badge. He wants to make a non-alcoholic punch. I'm taking part in the not going to supermarket for a month and forgot to get something whilst out. Can I create some sort of punch from the ingrediants I have in, which are

1 bottle orange squash

1/3 bottle apple/blackcurrant squash

3 x 2ltr fizzy water

3 apples

1 lemon

11 satsumas

1 bottle grenadine syrup

Can anyone help please

Why don't you do a quick mock up [say a glassful] first of some of the squashes and a dash of lemon juice to cut the sweetness and use ordinary tap water this time so you get some idea of the flavours and proportions. I think it should be absolutely possible from what you've got. Have you got any fruit juice?

No. That's why I'm not sure if it will work oohh just a thought. I'm sure our newsagent will sell something like that though, they def do those glass 'milk' bottles of orange juice. That would get me round not going to supermarket. Probably limited by flavours but I might be able to get orange juice.
  • Why not go to the supermarket, its going to be cheaper than your local shop, and afterall this is money saving!

You could peel and then whizz your satsumas in a blender to get a nice juice. I do it regularly :)

  • why not whizz up the satsumas to make a juice ,make up the squashes with fizzy water and then coat the inside of the punchbowl with the grenadine to get a tequila sunrise effect.
as aril says try a quick mock up first.
put any left over satsuma segments as floaty bits.

Thanks for the replies. I don't own a blender. I bought some of the OJ in the milk bottle from the newsagent and mixed this with the 2 squashes and fizzy water in a glass first as Aril had suggested and then added chopped lemon, satsumas and apple to the jugs we made of it.

There's a good choice on this website:-

Schweppes do a bottled Summer Punch which makes quite a passable "Pimms" type drink if you put slices of lemon/orange/apple and sprigs of mint in it!
My friend got some for her part last year from Costco, it comes in 2L bottles. Non alcoholic of course.

    Hi
you can mix iced tea, pieces of fruit (peaches, strawberries etc.) and fruit juice. Add some slices of lemon and ice cubes.

Any ideas for nice non-alcoholic drinks? I'm having a get together for some friends and I feel the drivers are usually fobbed off with orange juice or cola. It would be good to have something different to offer them.
