Afternoon all, i have been doing training all day for the voluntary work for my new planned career, it was great fun and very interesting, even if it was a Sunday.
My dfw things for today are/have been:
-Got my boyf to sit in the car with me whilst i drove to the training, so had a free driving practice.
-Decided not to buy a muffin when we went out for lunch as they are £1.70 each, so saved myself some money there and good for the waistline!
-Picked up some reduced items at Sains
-Will check online banking later
-Tried to do some surveys but keep getting screened out.
-Need to do daily clicks, been falling behind with these
-Have looked for mystery shops but none to be found
-Look for another bookie to do some matched betting with.
-Post letter back regarding new job.
Have a good evening everyone.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

I've painted my bedroom instead of paying out for a professional decorator. Looks good too." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

Good for you lilac, it always feels nicer knowing you've done it yourself.
did the ironing and then started tea, but just blew my NSD 'cause I've had to pop out to the corner shop to spend 99p on tin foil for the roast!
Can someone please explain the surveys and daily clicks? Is it an earner?
YB you're right the weather should be better by now.0 -

Can I ask, I see alot of you wash on 30, does it clean dirty cleans, i mean kids clothes, and stains out of undergarments (TMI) but you know what I mean with two boys in the house?
Do you wash your bedlinen on 30 also, and which soap powder do you use? Do you use an additional stain remover in the wash such as vanish powder?

I studied all the OS washing threads and have recently started
washing at 30 using
half amount of liquid
half a scoop of washing soda crystals
2 tbls of white vinegar instead of conditioner (amazing but truly works!)
works a treat and I have 3 boys ( + OH!) so know what you mean!
I think the trick also is not to overfill the WM ie full but not stuffed in. If they are particularly gruesome ( DS1's socks or horrible kit - urgghhh) I soak in Nappisan which works well too.Getting there...slowly!
GC : must do better
NSD: very rare
No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.0 -
Quite a nice day down here in Kent, so decided to try and sort out the shed and get it together for doing a boot fair next weekend. My DFW deeds today include
- frank talk with DH and kids on money saving and how much everything costs.
- roast chicken out of freezer (salvaged from last weeks roast)
- muffins for breakfast that were whoopsied (bought yesterday)
- put bus bed in freecycle - being picked up (not really saving me money, but has helped someone else)
- will hunt out more items to ebay and list them
- started new regime for shopping - take £x cash out each week and has to last to next friday (NO USING DEBIT CARD)
- put off supermarket shop by another day
- trampoline put up in garden (kids watch less telly- save on electric:rotfl: )

Many many thanks for your comments, do you wash your bedding on a 30.
Where can I buy Soda crystal from and Nappisan (btw what is it?).
Does anyone know off hand how much approx would it save in water and electricity to wash on a 30 rather than a 40, I wash all bedding on a 60 though at the moment. I am trying to cut down on the electricity bill.
