Also the release date has moved to 25th July on the HMV site too.

  • I just called HMV customer services (0845 603 8576) and they say that because I bought the item at their 'campaign price' then I would be paying the lower price of £28. They also confirmed this included the GPS device and the software. I suggest others do the same so they are aware that there are a lot of us expecting their promises to be honoured!

As an update to this thread, Argos now have them in stock - I got one this morning!
The online retailers are all taking pre-orders for mid July but I noticed last night that Argos were saying on their website that they had them in stock.

I reserved one online and picked it up this morning - first impressions are good but I have not had a chance to play with it yet.

by the way, cost is £99.99 for the GPS receiver, mounting kit and software.

I have just had my order cancelled by HMV and so am very annoyed as not once have they emailed me about the change in price or the launch date. I went into agreement with them and so am very annoyed that they can do this. Its their mistake not mine.

Has anyone else heard from HMV cancelling their order
  • This is what I just got...

Why would anyone pay £100 for a sat nav add on for a console when you could buy a stand alone sat nav for less?

I had the same email - is there anything we can do in order to get HMV to honour their original price?
