Anyone know much about this? I found (through another site) about HMV selling this for £27.99 ("£2 off Listing Price"). THey have it listed with a release date of 25th April.
http://hmv.com/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=280;-1;-1;-1&sku=781700
However, Amazon and Play.com don't have any release date. A search on Google reveals a price of £110 at Play.com!
I reckon £28 is an excellent price for this, but I don't want to order if the release date is incorrect (plan on using a McDonalds voucher, but it would be wasted if the date is wrong).

Could it be just the software?
In other shops this is itemised as Satellite receiver and software, while HMV calls this a game????
It's only a game

No I don't think so.The Go!Explore package comes with the GPS system and a UMD featuring all UK and Ireland maps. You can choose from 12 languages and more voices willl become avaliable to download via the PSP Store.
The more I look, the more conflicting information I'm finding across the Internet. I guess we'll just have to wait and see...Everybody dies, but not everyone truly lives0 -
Yes, I agree it's odd that there is little info out there about it and Sony do not seem to be promoting it.
I've been eagerly awaiting this product and cant wait to get my hands on it. HMV actually had it down initially as being launched on the 25th March then they changed it to 25th April.I'm on the email list for Play.com but they haven't announced it yet either which makes me think that it's not going to happen on the 25th April
Initially when they made the announcement about it, I understand that it was supposed to be released in 3 different packages - 1 with the GPS receiver and UMD software, 1 as above but bundled with a mounting kit/braket thing for in the car and a full package including the PSP.
If I find any more info, I'll let you know.

Looks a good find - I ordered one ! Thanks0

I have been anticipating this product for awhile now. I was confused with the pricing as well. But in the end I ordered one after reading the review with a video demo of Go Explore in action. Since I already have a PSP car windscreen mount, I don't need to wait for any other package to be out.0

I would be very disappointed/surprised if it costs more than £30 for the receiver and software. I look at it that I already have most of the hardware in the PSP. If Play's price is correct then I'd be just as inclined to go buy a standalone SatNav device.0

I've just been reading the Sony PSP forums, it appears that HMV have jumped the gun again - the shopto website has it on pre-order with an estimated release date of 25th JULY !!!
:rolleyes::rolleyes:
Looks like we're not getting it for a while yet then :-(
