I don't do stuff like lipstick and skirt lengths and whether I'm a size 10 in Next and a 12 in Monsoon, I think because I'm not of a 'size' to be able to join in the conversation.

OH has just called, he is going to look at whatever this problem is, he'll be here in an hour or so.

Means I can still play with my friends!!

freaky - if I didn't know you were bloomin miles away I'd think you'd been sitting in our staffroom! the conversation then usually moves on to which lcd/plasma tv they all "need".... or which fake tan is best.
bores me to tears...but more interesting than what I have to listen too......

  • I love lipstick and fashion and like to chat about it to other people that like it, but if they don't then no biggy (am far from a 10 - in fact I was probably about 8 years old when I was a size ten but now I happily admit that my @rse is a size 16-18, if only to watch the skinny girls shuffle around all embarrassed)

EDIT: no biggy was meant to mean that I will talk about soemthing else, but have just realised it can be read as I don't care I will talk at you about it, not quite what I meant - lol

But there is lots of other stuff I like to talk about too. I have lived in several cities and can usually get mileage out of that; I read loads of books; I do a brilliant line in crap telly and I have awful taste in music and films and I love playing Singstar; I like to keep an eye on current affairs and I work in healthcare and like talking about all that too.

Actually I am quite dull - never meet up with me, I will bore you to tears.

that was the normal conversation with my friends at my last job, most days they went into town and came back with Next/Monsoon/Primark/M+S bags full of clothes and 'oh my god, I got into a 10'!!!

To be honest, once I feel 'accepted' by people in real life, I can be a bit mad round the edges :p

I've met I_A and Snaggles twice now.........they really should be wary of my nuttyness emerging the next time I see them!!!!!

And as for Bunny...........blimey, she's so shy I'll never feel at ease with her now I've met her :rotfl: :p :rotfl: ;) :rotfl:
