Cheap Smell-alikes - Cheaper alternatives to Expensive Perfumes

Lucy, I'm interested to know what u think of the Samsara. I ordered some and it was awful, just wondering if I was unlucky and got a dodgy bottle that had been in the heat or something.

Oh no. I hope it was just a one-off. Its one of my all time favs so i'll know if its a good copy. Will def keep you posted. My order was shipped last night:T

Following a fruitless such online for some YSL Nu, I turned to PP and they have it :j:j:j

I've ordered it, and Ed Hardy & Lady Million for £6 plus £1 P&P. Bargain. But I really don't need anymore perfumes. 26 should be enough for anyone:o

I have just placed my first order:

Pomegranate Noir (JM Type)
Issey Miyake (Type)
Hypnotic Poison (Type)
Vera Wang (Type)
Shalimar (Type)

I do have the "real" Pom Noir so ordered that copy to compare, but I have never smelt the others so they shall be a surprise.

Will let you know my verdict in due course...

Just got my order(flowerbomb,black orchid and samsara).

Verdict(bare in mind i've only just put them on)

Samsara(nothing like the original)
Flowerbomb(its ok,but not as sweet as the original)
Black orchid(a very good likeness and my fav out of the 3)

Just got my order!

Eternity - Ok, bit weaker than the perfume but pretty much perfect
Angel - Not quite the same but it's ok
Hypnotic Poison - not smelt the original, bought after someone mentioned it on here and it's ok
coco mademoiselle - not as nice as the original but its ok
Flowerbomb - as above, not as sweet as original but its ok
My only disappointment is Tresor which smells absolutely awful and not a thing like the original

I've just received my 7th(?) order containing Ed Hardy, Nu, and Lady Million. I've had the lids off for a sniff but haven't put any on yet as I will wait and wear one each day, however, on first sniff they all smell good, and as far as I can tell, pretty authentic

@Lucy, it wasn't just me with the Samsara then I bought the real thing from Cheap Smells in the end.

Can anyone recommend a few new ones for me to try? I can never be bothered to go around the perfume counters and smell them and after the first 9/10 they all smell the same any way. My last order I stuck to ones I knew but I would like to try some new ones, especially at these prices!

My favourite perfume is ghost (original one), and I like sweet smells and love vanilla. If anyone can suggest a few I can try based on those things i'd really appreciate it! I don't mind if they're not exactly like the originals as long as they smell nice!

I don't know whether i'm delighted I found this thread and will save a fortune or whether i'm gutted because i'm going to end up spending a fortune on them:rotfl:

If you like sweet perfumes then,I would try Beyonce heat or Burberry London:)

You ordered yours 2 days after mine and I've yet to receive my order. Bored of this rubbish postal system, I want my perfume
