this often happens try naming the songs before you burn...listen to the song get the title or something like it then go to edit song title along the top if I remember rightly and change the title from track 1 to say happy mondays also when I put a number of songs on my mobile that were 1-24 then 1-25 they over rided each other so I only got half the song's you'll need to name them...hths:DHi, I have burned a cd ok, however when ever i play it back, the songs are in reverse order. how do i burn the tracks on the album on to the cd in the correct order. I found this out when I had xp when all the songs were all over the place..I have vista now and it seems to pick up a lot more info on the songs when you put a cd in...but try to name them it's abit boring and can be along process depending on how many cd's you have but it does work...:DOh! Sorry, I can't remember how it's done in itunes, I do recall highlighting the album then right clicking and selecting an option, possibly 'rename' though I am unsure.
You could use something like: http://www.mp3tag.de/en/index.html which is useful if you ripped the cd to aquire the freedb music database information on the album.
Otherwise you're stuck with using Windows Explorer and right clicking each track in turn and renaming it in a 00 format, for instance 01, 02 - 10, 11 etc. If that doesn't work, insert a leading 0 into the beginning of each track name so you have 000 001, 002, 010, 011 etc. That usually works or at least it has always done so for me.
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -
I found that renaming each file and putting the m in number order
ie:
01 - title - artist
02 - title - artist
just make sure that you number them 01,02 ..... and not 1.2....
a bit old school but still worksPROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBT NERD #869
