Computer insurance - Compucover vs Insure & Go

I need to insure my laptop so I can take it abroad. My insurance policy (Saxon student possessions insurance) does not cover items abroad, and cannot be extended to do so, so I need to insure this item separately.

The first company I found was Compucover however I soon realise that because the machine is ~6 months old already, they won't cover it.

I then found Insurance & Go's computer insurance policy. Has anybody used it in the past? It seems that the cover is provided by Compucover (e.g. if you read the overview of the terms and conditions here) however no 3 month maximum age applies.

I will call Insure and Go when they are open but I am interested to hear whether anybody has purchased their computer insurance policy in the past, and whether the 3 month limit is truly not applicable here.
