Yes, but not for the reasons i said, you can refuse (as moonrakerz said) becasue legal tender is only applicable when paying debts, so in a shop situation it can always be refused.
I was wrong about that part but not about what amounts of coin constitutes legal tender (wow there's a first, me admitting to being wrong)
However if your reason for refusing to serve them isn't because of the way they pay but because they are Romanian you may fall foul of the Race Relations Act 1976.Bought, not Brought0 -
