un-able to remove nero 7

dear all
having a slight problem, i have nero 7 installed on my laptop, which is running vista, anyway i seem to have lost the disc or something like that and ive now come to install nero 8 and it wont install until i un-install nero 7.
anyway ive tried going to add remove and it wont have any of it, it tells me windows uninstaller has stopped working, then if i look for an online solution i get "internal error: custom action dll crashed on last call in function "neroAg_unregistercomex" the installer must now exit

so can anyone help as i need to burn something tonight and unless i can get nero 8 on my pc it isnt gona happen.
