strange voice

Hi hope someone can help, my dd has been using the pc a lot in the 2 week half term and always has the volume turned up. but while iv been using the pc iv noticed a voice saying you`ve got company and a door slaming, don`t now where its come from and don`t now how to get rid of it, when i us the pc i don`t have the volume on so don`t now how long it been doing this. but its realy starting to be annoying. thanks :confused:

    Its probably an advert sound in your browsers cache, well maybe.

    Clear the browsers history, see what happens

    Isn't that just one of the Standard AOL instant messaging buddy list alerts?

    I don't (and won't) use AOL, but my sister does, and that's exactly what she hears when a "buddy" comes online.

    Incidentally, does anyone know if that alert was recorded by Joanna Lumley? Maybe just my imagination, but it does sound like her...

    lol, thats when she wasnt privileged :rolleyes:

    I cant however find a definitive list of all the voices, just glad Chubby Brown isnt one of them :eek:
