EmmaH warned you back in April 2006....people didnt listen then and looks like you 'brokers' who were selling sub prime morgages [and advising on this site] and making a few bucks out of selling this crap didnt like what she said....and had her thrown off the site....

Some of the mortgage advisers certainly weren't very happy at the information/warnings she was giving out.
I think I read somewhere (on the mortgages board?) that people can now sue their broker.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

More money for your "big deposit" or some money to help subsidise your rental depending on the side of fence you're on!

The sheer vehemence of some of the replies is pretty notable. Even more than the antipathy generated by the HPC posts in this group in the last month. I guess people back then really weren't ready to hear the bad news.--
Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.0
