Setanta - Sign iup for the Big Fight Tonight

Hi All, I want to watch the boxing tonight - as far as i know it's only on Setanta - i have a freeview box but I am not currently subscribed to setanta.

My questions is can i sign up just to watch the fight tonight or for a very short period. If i sign up tonight will I be 'set up' in time to watch the fight which starts at 3am i believe.

Any other ideas? regards Huggins

you need a freeview box with a slot for a top up card. you then need to buy a setanta top up card from somewhere like comet or currys.

you have to sign up for a minimum of a month (well that was the case a few months back). think there's a special offer on at the moment but not sure.... we pay 9.99 per month for setanta. if you plan to sign up, call them ASAP as sometimes it can take a while for the signal to be received!!! especially today with lots of people calling.

if you want to cancel, you have to ring on a specific date after the first month. when you sign up, ask them to tell you the exact date you'd need to call to avoid paying for the second month.

Have also read it it better to pay by direct debit,as you can cancel this (there are a lot of threads about the problems of cancelling with them).Threads also say to send the cancellation by recorded delivery.

i have cancelled then re-subscribed without problems. sometimes it can take a while to get through to cust services but only if you ring at peak times. when i cancelled, i just called them and did it over the phone then cancelled my direct debit (not sure how else you'd be able to pay..)
