Reclaiming my window sills!
Hello! I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to gardening but this year I thought I'd grow some toms, peppers, basil and sunflowers (don't ask). Unfortunately I was a bit thick and didn't think that the number of seeds I sowed would equal the number of plants I'd have as they were cheap ones from Morrisons so I thought they would mostly wither and die. WRONG!
I now have no free window space. I would like a greenhouse, but there's no way I can afford a proper one. I have seen those ones that look like a set of shelves with a plastic cover over them. Are they any good? I don't have a big budget so I don't want to waste my money. I know the basil will need to stay indoors and the sunflowers probably won't fit on a shelf, but could I put the toms and peppers out in one?
At least I only planted three sunflower seeds!

Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Hi
I have one of these mini-greenhouses and its jam packed with everything growing. I used it last year and it was very successful. Started off tomato seeds and basil indoors but now its full of sweetcorn, cabbages, dwarf beans, tomato plants and runner beans. My dwarf beans are getting really tall, I planted them too early as cannot put them in allotment yet till May. We did put a slab of concrete on floor as last year as it blew over. Dont know how long it will last but only cost £12.99 from Lydl.0 -
Check out Wilkinsons for a plastic walk in greenhouse. Mine is 6ft x 4ft and is full already. They only last a year or two...mine is already starting to tear around the seams but for £30 (or £40 can't remember) who can complain....0

Have a look at this baby, check for a code on google and then get it via quidco.

This looks perfect for my tiny garden and so much more solid than the one had from lidl, which has now fallen to bits. I'm fairly new to the forum and although I have heard everyone talk about Quidco, I haven't the faintest idea what it is:o . Could someone please enlighten me?"To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill" Sun Tzu0 -

I treated myself to one of these a few weeks ago and I'm absolutely chuffed to bits with it
I think its really great value and hold literally tons of stuff.
I've always wanted a 'proper' greenhouse but can't have one at the moment so this is a perfect solution for now0 -
