My anniversary date is 30th September but I transferred my balance last month. Will I qualify for anything?

Yes a shed load of interest if you don't pay it back - PDQ
. You can then SBT back on the 1st Oct - I've never heard an anniversary month starting at the end of the month
If you are in doubt about when your anniversary month is send them a secure message or phone and ask.
Might also be worth looking at the Egg anniverasry explained thread.

I think your anniversary month will be Sep, but do what smartsaver said and send them a secure message to check. I asked them a similar question a few months ago and their response was as follows:I've checked your account and as it was opened in July 2003 your anniversary date will be July 2005.
This means you can get 0% interest on balance transfers for up to five months. The special rate applies to balances transferred on the anniversary of the month your account was first opened.
Hope this helps...

Yes, my anniversary is this month also and i want to do a big BT. Im just wondering whether or not Egg will contact me and tell me. If not i'll send them a secure message and ask. Methinks this will probably be the last BT i can make without charge-they all seem to be applying a 2 % charge now on new accounts.0

Hi,
I just did a couple of large balance transfers off and back onto my Egg card..to take advantage of the anniversary offer.
One thing to be aware of, is that Egg only allow you to BT 95% of your credit limit back onto the card.
In my case, I was pretty much maxed out on the card and had to forego transferring everything back.
Bear this in mind..especially, if (as I did) you are using the SBT facility.Cheers

Just to add, pre May 1st applicants can do a second fee-free BT for 95% of the remaining 5% of available credit.Gadgetnutter wrote:One thing to be aware of, is that Egg only allow you to BT 95% of your credit limit back onto the card.
This should get you to around 99%, but I'd suggest leaving £50 or £100 left on the card just in case of emergencies, eg missed DD etc.0
