Hiya

I think my PC's infected with malwarebell - i keep getting these popups telling me I've a virus and must download this that and the other:

It says:

"System Error!

Your system is infected with dangerous virus!

Note: Strongly recommend to install spyware program to clean your system and avoid total crash of computer!"

I've done a google but can only find manual instructions for removal and I'm no techie so haven't a clue.

Can anyone help? Is there a simple way to do this?

Thanks so much to both of you. I've done these and it seems to have done the trick, with the added bonus of my sluggish, slow PC suddenly becoming superfast!

i had them pop ups kept coming up . . .
i am with norton online security and i did a full system scan and got rid off all the viruses to do with malware and spyware . . .

and there is an easier way off getting rid off malware just go on to http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/malw...l/malware-bell

and follow the steps
