Just been on site & noticed for non-registered accounts the limit is now 3K down from 10K!

Presumably that is the change they've made following the reinstatement of the ability to pay money into non-pre-registered accounts as an anti-fraud measure.
It's not that much of a hardship to phone up to make such large payments - I certainly don't do many transfers over £3k in a year, and I'd rather not have my account cleared out by a phisher.0
