extended warranty

Hi
My original tv warranty has expired. Is there any cheaper extended warranty avalble? Has any body go experience how these private warranty guys are? I mean will they repair or replace the items if my tv goes wrong? Any advices please.

    Yes you can get independant exteneded warranties, but I have never used them. Ask yourself how much the TV is worth and weigh up the pros/ cons, i.e. my tv was only £80 second hand, if it goes wrong I'll buy another one, it would be a waste of money adding an extended warranty IMO. If you have a nice big LCD or similar then the risk to you is greater....
