The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(

    Hi dalip,

It's a superb idea; the last time we met up was just like a very civilised business convention, or socialising after a training course. It takes a while to relax and feel that you can speak freely, but once you do it's an unforgettable experience. There's just not enough time to say the things you'd like to.

Nobody is ever exactly the same as their on-line persona, but your perceptions are usually quite accurate.

It seems as though the rules for group bookings are different, because under normal circumstances you can reserve a room, and then cancel it up to 1pm on the day of arrival, and it doesn't cost anything.

It would probably be best just to book the rooms individually and that gives everybody the flexibility of cancelling if something crops up last minute.

We use our Cash Plus MasterCard which reserves the room, but doesn't charge the card, and then pay it cash on arrival.

    Richard
Good thinking, Richard, that way no-one will feeling they're letting someone else down if they've involved in each other's bookings & one of them needs to cancel. I used my spanking new LTSB Visa debit card for the first time, & I've just booked myself a double room. And in case anyone wonders, I've booked Worcester, not Birmingham Central. :D

And I've done my name badge too. :T
