A bit weird

I check new properties coming on the market in a few places, including Halifax, as that's where DH works (and yes, he does work where you think he does, but he is not a banker ...). Anyway, if W Yorks is of interest to you, look at the listings for Halifax today on Rightmove. Masses. An agency I don't know (Brearley-Brown? .. Perhaps they just never used RM before) but also properties that have a theme. Surely not that many people want to get rid of their barn conversions all at the same time ??????????

Sometimes agents manipulate RM to make older stock come up as new. A few of them do it round here. You'll suddenly get a load from one agent. They're just recycling.

I'd like to see barn conversions for comparison! Am I searching for halifax or around it?

It's called an over supply of ridiculously priced property that nobody can afford to buy any more due to adverse credit conditions. Have a look again next week and even more will appear.

    The crash is on.

Well, I've come across re-listing everything, and there is an agent here who is putting a property as 'new today' every day (it's going to be difficult to sell as the private road where it is is impassable). But this isn't that - none of these have ever been on RM before. I THINK it is a developer off-loading, since many of them have planning permission granted.
