Ibp Wot Is It??

I have Royal Bank Of Scotland account. We recently paid a cheque in and the funds were there. Now it says IBP Funds dispute and the funds are showing as withdrawn. Does anyone know what this means.
Sorry if thread is wrong place first time user. Thanks

  • Sounds like the drawer has denied writing the cheque and has reported it as a fraud perhaps-have you contacted the person who gave you the cheque??

Sounds like the cheque has bounced.
  • Speak to your family member-could only indicate insufficient funds in that case.

Was the cheque drawn on another RBS account?
