I have Royal Bank Of Scotland account. We recently paid a cheque in and the funds were there. Now it says IBP Funds dispute and the funds are showing as withdrawn. Does anyone know what this means.

Sounds like the drawer has denied writing the cheque and has reported it as a fraud perhaps-have you contacted the person who gave you the cheque??Loan-£3600 only 24 months of payments to go!!!
All debt consolodated and cards destroyed!!

The cheque came from family member and I am sure it is not a fraud.0

IBP = Inter Branch Payment.
Was the cheque drawn on another RBS account?0 -
Cheque was coming from a different bank than the RBS. Thanks everyone for there help. Will hopefully get it sorted out.0
