Many moons ago there was a link on one of the boards to a site that gave details of average energy consumptions per household. I can't find it - can anyone help please.

try a comparrison site and select the don't know usage option - they then ask a few questions to estimate based on such averages

I have a poll / discussion on Economy 7 / 10 off-peak usage (as a % or total) and ways to improve it but I'm not allowed to link to it so have a look on the gas/elec forum if you would like to vote or discuss.:cool:0 -
The UK average is 20,500kWh gas and 3,300kWh electricity pa.
What is not clear is how that average is worked out.
Does it include the Buckingham palace type residence and the rarely used tiny holiday cottage - or what???
Does the electricity figure include those who use electricity for heating and have no gas?
The majority of people on MSE seem to use far more than those figures - particularly electricity.0
