i am aware that my virgin card will allow me to transfer a balance to pay off my overdraft on my current account but how does it work? I mean if i have say a 200pound overdraft and i request a balance transfer for 800 would this be allowed and would it just leave me with 600pound to use and my overdraft payed off? is this not just a way to put money into your account with no charges (my current b.t rate is 0%).
