I'm waiting on a pre-ordered item too, although I got the items that were in stock and my card was debited for the discounted amount of the whole order.

Would be helpful if the delivery note that came with the first part actually showed that there was something on backorder, and still to follow, but mine doesn't. With no way of tracking the outstanding part of the order on line either it does rather leave you in the dark about what's happening to the rest of the order!

I ordered Prince of Persia and Dance UK, and just received identical 2 cancellation emails...
The strange thing is that Price of Persia is on "pre order" and Dance UK was due in 3 days (from an earlier email from Virgin)
Both titles are still on their site taking orders.
I reckon they're cancelling because of the discount voucher.... can they do this?  :'(

Wouldn't have thought they can do that for pre-orders, otherwise what's the point in pre-ordering! If you speak to them, demand they take it off their website if it is no longer available! See what they say then!

I've got POP 2 on pre order with them and have received no cancellation yet, touch wood!

My Pro Evolution 4 and TOCA2 for the PS2 arrived yesterday morning with the £20 discount applied. That's a £16 saving on the cheapest High Street price (Argos) of £30 each. Well happy.

Not sure when I'll get to play them as I'm currently embroiled in San Andreas.

Placed two orders Monday evening - CC debited for discounted amount.
Orders arrived today - invoices didn't show discount.

Top marks for delivery, just add order tracking to the site and things would be even better .......

I've just tried a couple of times and keep being told that the voucher code is not valid.

Too late again!
